The latest live East Forest record titled prana is now available for pre-order exclusively here at EastForest.org in the Music section.

We are proud to have the cover art provided by the famed artist Ross Bleckner who is gracing us with his painting Falling Birds II.

prana was recorded and improvised completely live during a sound healing ceremony over the winter solstice of 2012 in deep southern Utah performed in an old underground silo. It was about 10 degrees below zero outside and I was set up next to a giant wood stove, standing on a slate stone floor with about 25 people in the room.

A friend Michael Highland has created a minimalist interactive video game intended to “evoke feelings of being a child. There is no way to win, and likewise, no way to lose.” It uses East Forest music (with Thacher Schmid on strings) and is even named after an EF song off Music Meditations!
